The Junius Courtney Big Band is a nineteen-piece Bay Area institution.  The newly-released reoording “US” (Kojiding Records) is the band’s debut CD.  Its fifteen tracks joyfully demonstrate the variety of dynamic ensemble playing, ebullient solos and heart-catching vocals.
